I can't really say what catch up means but I myself have a preemie that is almost 14months old he was born at 25weeks and weighed 1lb 12oz and spent 3 and a half months in the NICU! Scary I know...he came on on oxygen and 2 different monitors (pulse ox and apnea) this didn't answer ur question I know but I love to share my story
