Who ever thinks that skin tags are from being over weight is incorrect. Skin tags are somewhat related to the Human Papilloma virus. Possibly some type of wart. Our Doctors do not even know the answer. Yes they can appear from moist hot areas that rub, ie over weight people. I have an excessive amount of skin tags, we are talking about HUNDREDS. The derms dont why, they even took pictures for their records. I actually had surgery to remove a 8"x8" section of skin, excessive scar tissue from having them cut off for years. I know the doctors dont like us to cut things off our body, most people do not sterlize the equipment correctly, getting infections and so on. Buy a pair of "iris" scissors, clean area and cutter with alcohol and cut off. The string thing is painful
