OK - so you're probably too young to get the "Boogie oogie oogie" reference, but you're definitely right about the music. I don't care if I forget my gloves, my towel, my water... but I simply cannot do cardio inside on a machine without music. Like you, if I am feeling resistance, I say to myself, "Just climb up there, and listen to the music. You don't even have to go fast. No pressure. Take it nice and easy."

Then, of course, once the music gets going, I'm cranking right along with it - it's like magic.

Music is a fantastic resistance-buster!
