For jellyfish stings, count on carrying a large beach bag as there seem to be a number of different items you'll need. You'll want to pack vinegar (to soak or rinse a jellyfish sting) for about 15-20 minutes. You can also use sea water, 70 percent isopropyl alcohol, or Safe Sea Jellyfish After Sting® pain relief gel. Tweezers and a razor may be needed to remove the nematocysts along with shaving cream or baking soda. If stung in the eyes, rinse with a commerical saline solution like Artifical Tears. You may also want to take acetaminphen or ibuprofen for the pain. Ace bandages might not be a bad idea as well.

Important note: If you are stung, you'll want to seek medical attention immediately.
To help with sand mites, try wearing sandals on the beach instead of going barefoot. Cortisone cream should help with these bites if you apply it several times a day.
