Let me take some basic information right out of the book as in I am not personally qualified to give diet advice. I also have read the book " The Taoism of Fertility" By Dr. Daoshing Ni. He has been given some pretty prestigous awards by the american infertility association in his movement towards infertility. He specifies in treating the whole woman and all her symptoms from acne, to hormonal flushes, to simple things like coughing, and stomach problems. That they are all associated with possible infertility problems. He gives a lot of holistic aproaches including simple herbs and vitamens you can take. He also has a website and offers retreats. He has been very sucessful in his approaches. Both books actually go very inline with each other. Let me give you the basic list.
1.Avoid Trans fats
2. Use olive or canola oil.
3. Eat more vegtable protein ( beans / nuts)
4. Choose whole grains and other sources or carbs that have slower effects on the body
5. Drink a glass of whole milk a day. Trade in no fat dairy temporarily for the full fat version
6. Take a mutivitamen taht contains folic acid and other B vitamens
7. Get plenty of iron from fruits, vegetables, beans, and supplements but not from red meat
8. Beverages matter, water is great, coffee tea and alcohol are OK in moderation, leave sugared sodas alone
9. Aim for a healthy weight, losing between 5-10 percent can jump start ovulation
10. If you arent physically active start a daily excercise plan but don't overdo it ( in the Taosim book he specifies to not do any heavy cardio, especially hard hitting running, you want that energy that is going into building muscle to remain in help keeping your uterus etc healthy)

Again there is so much more detail in the book, it specifies WHY you need to do these things, how much, and how often. I wouldnt wing it. I will say though by making these very small changes. I have noticed a big difference in pain. And the only pregnancy ( I miscarrried) I experienced was when I started out following this. Since then i had a " I just cant care and give up relapse" but I'm back on that track again. Another good health book is Winning is Losing by Jillian Michaels, who explains the science and yes the hormonal balance and how to set goals and keep them.

A reminder would be also that libraries have these books available for free!

Good luck I know how sad and frusterating it can be, and how detrimental it can be to confidence and happiness. Ive learned a lot on my journey and am very happy now even though there is now resolve. I hope you all find that too!

I will be here to answer any more questions if you need it!
