I've been with my boyfriend a couple of months now, before we made it a relationship we use to be sex only buddies and almost like a relationship ....
everything was great until about a week ago, he got his snapchat back and there are a few slutty porn girls he had on there from the last time he had his snapchat. since then we haven't really had sex, we did once but he said he didn't really feel up for it and i think he did it because i felt up for it.

i suffer with bad body images and depression sometimes, but this has made me feel worse, i trust him and i know he's faithful but it feels like he doesn't wanna touch me. its slowly getting me down but i'm afraid to mention it to him in case i upset him.

i dunno what i can do

Hello Anonymous,

Welcome to EmpowHER. Thank you for reaching out to our community for advice.

This is a very personal matter and you may have opened yourself to a variety of suggestions.

Do you and your boyfriend share any common interests? Do you both engage in any activities other than sex?

I am sorry to hear that you suffer from bad body images of yourself and occasional depression. This cannot be helping matters.

As difficult as it may be, you and your boyfriend must talk about this. With openness and honesty, you can tell him how all of this makes you feel, and hopefully, he can tell you why he has pornographic photos on his phone and is avoiding intimacy with you.

Equally difficult is the realization that this is not a relationship but a sexual hook up that he has grown tired of.

We are here for you,
