Hello preethi,

Stress can cause a period to be late.

Repeat the test one more time. For the most accurate result, test in the morning. Use the urine when you first wake up and use the bathroom.

Either with a positive or another negative result, please call and speak with your gynecologist.

Maryann

Dec 26 I had unprotected sex with my bf, about 5 times in Jan (we kind of have busy schedules) and almost every other day in Feb. So far. My birthday is tomorrow and idk what to do. I want to have fun but am I pregnant?

Hello tee,

Take a home pregnancy test to know. For the most accurate result, test in the morning. Use the urine when you first wake up and use the bathroom.

A belated happy birthday,
Maryann

Hello Sasha,

I can't say other than a blood pregnancy test is more accurate than a urine test. You may want to have a blood test done.

Hello Anonymous,

Have you had unprotected intercourse since your last period?

Have you been under more stress? Have you been ill? Have you started to exercise more than before?

Pregnancy, stress, illness, increased physical exercise, weight gain and weight loss can all cause a delay in the start of your period.

Maryann

Hello Savannah,

Since your period is late by two weeks, take a pregnancy test. For the most accurate result, test in the morning using the urine when you first wake up. Only sure way to know.

Maryann
