Hi,

How did you lose 150+ pounds seven years ago?

I am so glad you are looking for help now: are you throwing up after a binge? What is a typical binge for you? How long have you been throwing up after you eat?

There are many, many different types of help you can get; here is a list for you in Florida (there are many other options, too):
- Eating Disorders Treatment Providers in Your State, NEDA
- Eating Disorder Support Groups in Your State, NEDA
-Therapists and Support Groups in Southern States, ANAD

Have you heard about The Renfrew Center? It is a residential treatment facility for eating disorders, and you are very fortunate to have it located in your state (it is about 4 hours away, located in Boca Raton, FL). This facility has amazing therapists and other health care providers, many whom I have personally met and they are absolutely wonderful, caring, supportive, knowledgeable and resourceful. There is information for you to figure out if Renfrew is right for you, if you have an eating disorder, and other helpful information: click here. You can also call them at 1-800-RENFREW and they can talk about other services in your area; they would be great to talk with, since they are in your state.

Do you have a therapist, nutritionist and/or medical doctor that you are currently working with? Are you able to obtain a referral from them?

What else can we help you with, beyond providing resources for treatments for you?

Anon, I want to applaud you for knowing that you need to get some help for your binge eating and throwing up. Eating disorders are incredibly destructive to both your body and your psychology, so I want to cheer you on in your effort.

Is this the first time you've binged and purged, or did you do it earlier as well?

Have you gained weight back and are depressed about that?

In addition to the great Florida resources Alison gave you, here's a bulimia support group that is online and totally anonymous:

http://www.bulimiahelp.org/

And here's a very thorough guide to bulimia, including thoughts about treatment and recovery:

Do you have a therapist by chance? Someone you can talk to about this?
