I had my period Oct 5th for 6 days, Had sex Oct 11th and Oct 18th (the day before ovulation). And today Oct 23rd I'm experiencing abdominal cramps in the uterus area, I could hardly sit down. Could I be pregnant? Or is it still just ovulation? Even though my ovulation was roughly 5 days ago and did not experience this pain. I am not worried but just would like some friendly advice on what could be going on with my body. Thank you very much, look forward to ready everyone's responses.

Hello Anonymous,

Abdominal cramping, nausea, bloating, and having a headache could all be symptoms of a virus. Add sore breasts and you could be experiencing premenstrual symptoms.

The surest way to know if you are pregnant is to wait; if your period is late beyond on week, take a home pregnancy test.

Hello Anonymous,

Did your last period start on December 9, 2012 or September 12, 2012?
Have you taken a pregnancy test?

Im a mother of 2, yet i am not yet ready for another one. I usually had irregular cycle. Last Sept. - Oct. i noted a 49 days cycle. My last LMP was Dec. 13 and lasted for 2 days and mild spotting on the 3rd day. My husband come once in a while from work and we had unsafe sex on Dec. 24, and Dec. 25. Nothing follows then, on the 26th dawn i noticed some red - brownish stain on my undies, on the 27th i started to feel little discomforts on my abdomen light spotting and cramps, until the 28th of Dec. and it stopped. Im worried since yesterday Jan. 4, i noticed again red-brown stain on my undies and a little discomfort on my abdomen, and today i felt my abdomen is getting huge and makes me worried a lot since i am not yet ready for another child, and i took 1 week of antibiotics for my tooth pain. Hope to hear positive response from you. God bless

Hi there

My Husband and I have been trying to cenceive for the last 4 years now.
I eventually had a lapracope 2August 2012 and my uterus walls where to tight , but the doc sorted that our for me and I started with Fertomid in September.
I tested for ovulation and up to today wich is day 26 I havent tested positive yet. :(

On day 25 I had a little white/red discharge and I normally have a 32 day cycle.
I do feel the symptoms as if I am going to get my periods. But its to early. It gone today, so I feel a bit confused??

Doc prescribed Clomid but I asked the Pharmacy for Fertomid as Clomids made my extremely sick before. And Fertomid was much better .

Hoping to fall pregnant soon. Turning 30 in 5 months....

regards
Sunette

Hi there, I have a question on if it's common to ovulate early. The first day of my last period was September 9th. My husband and I were married on the 8th...so let's say we've been busy for the past couple of weeks. I usually have a 29 day cycle and according to my calender I am to ovulate today and start my period in exactly two week. The problem is the for the past 5 or 6 days I have been light headed, queezy, have had tender breasts, dull headaches, and have been very tired. I have been passing it off as my body preparing to ovulate. Today though, I have had extreme cramps in my uterus all day long. I can usually feel a twinge of pain on either one side or the other in my ovaries mid-month and it usually lasts about 30 minutes and this is NOTHING like that. I feel like I'm about to start my period, though I'm not due for two weeks. I guess my question is...could I have ovulated early and be pregnant, or is this some really extreme ovulation pain. We have been having unprotected sex each time, but he has been 'pulling out'. The only time my husband claims to have egaculated in me was on our wedding night (the eighth) and I started my period the next day. We are currently not actively 'trying' to get pregnant, but a baby would be a happy surprise. Also, when would I be able to take a pregnancy test?

Sounds like you should have Dr. check for a cyst on your ovary. I have had several and I had to have a laparatomy on one that wouldn't. Shrink. I think they typically become larger around ovulation Time and go.down when period starts. Definitely. go to Dr. and have yourself checked out.
GOOD LUCK :)

Hello Anonymous,

Severe abdominal cramps are not a symptom of a normal pregnancy.
If you are still having the pain, with no relief, please consult your gynecologist right away.
