I have been having problems for over a year, it started with alot of pain in my joints, Dr said figromialgia, then i started having problems with dizzyness, that got better, then on Christmas 2011 i got up couldnt walk, it was in alot of pain in my legs, off balance, Dr gave me cortizone shots and steroid pill, that got better, then I started having problems with nausea and vomiting, after many tests they said i had acid reflux only problem is i didnt have heartburn, that with medication got better, even tho my gag reflex is still bad! shortly after that i woke up one morning had was having problems with my bladder not being able to hold my urine, did a test said kidneys were good and so was bladder, with the exception of two cysts on my kidney, after that i strated haveing tremors in my arm and legs, tingling loss of balance really bad, totally wore out all the time, worse in the afternoon, my vision started to get blurry and vision in right eyes is compramised. I have been thru test after test, did a mri scan of my brain, showed nonspecific relative localized slight thin enhancement and thickening of sure seen over the right frontal to temporal region and two small adjacent areas of increased signal intesisty in white matter right frontal region , reciently had a mri done of cspine showed focal hyperintense lesion in T1 and T2- weighted images is noted involving the T2 vertebrai body likely representing a hemagioma or focal fatty rest. I am so frustrated with no diagnosis on what is wrong with me, i have been told that i might just need attention (NO) and that it is in my head(NO) that i just need to loose weight and i would feel better all the way around(NO) mybe i am depressed and i am not.. and the latest was well we might never know what is wrong.. please help I am so so frustrated and just want an answer to what is going on with me.. i have read up on MS and i have most symptoms that coinside with MS.. why is it so hard to diagnose and why is it so hard to find a dr that knows what to look for and that can diagnose me.

Hello pkiggans,
Without access to your medical history, physical examination report, and all of your diagnostic test results, it is impossible to give you specific suggestions.

However, your symptoms of joint pain, fatigue, dizziness, vision changes, gastrointestinal disturbance, and urinary incontinence can be indicative of a variety of conditions, from Lyme disease to lupus.

I realize from what you have shared that you have had many tests and been to many physicians. It appears that a neurological issue is the root of your problems. I suggest you find a well-trained neurologist, preferably associated with an academic center. A specialist who is affiliated with medical school or training hospital will be better at diagnosing a complicated medical case.
I suggest this based on my own personal health experience.
