I am assuming you took an emergency contraceptive 72 hours after unprotected sex. A second dose taken 12 hours later is necessary with Postinor 2. You may not have vaginal bleeding immediately after taking the pill. If you do not have vaginal bleeding within 3 weeks of taking the pill, then test for pregnancy.
When taken as directed, an emergency contraceptive is very effective in preventing pregnancy.
