I am 31 years old and have just been diagnosed with osteoporosis. I already do everything I need to do in order to prevent it, however, I have been on Depoprovera for over 10years, which we believe is the cause of it (more medical tests to follow).

Hi Anonymous,

This is a good video for you to watch as it is clear that younger women can get osteoarthritis. You can watch it here http://www.empowher.com/osteoarthritis/content/do-young-women-develop-osteoarthritis-dr-johnson-video.

Hope this helps.
