Hello Anonymous,

Menopause is clinically confirmed once you have gone 12 full months without a period. If necessary, a blood test to check your follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) can confirm menopause.

I think it is safe to say that you are postmenopausal.

Maryann

Thank you Maryann. I have been sent for blood test just waiting for results. I didnt have a period throughout the 5 years i had the merina and at the time doctor said it was usual not to have period whike on it, so thinking maybe i havent had a period in 5 years because of the merina stopping all that. Plus - ive had no menopausal symptoms that everyone scared me with a neither have I had tge merina crash yet ( have I spoken too soon?!!
