Q:

Am I PREGANT?

I had sex during the entire time I missed some pills around the last week of my bc pack, so I didn't finish that pack (had my period) AND then I started a new pack that following Sunday and got 3 days behind in the first week (also still having sex) and didn't finish that pack. Then got my period due to the inconsitency of not taking bc pills. Now a week after my second period in the month of June I am having cramps and bloated, a bit more cranky, sleepy, and a pretty constant back ache kinda "dull" on the left lower side. Could I be pregnant? Should I stop taking bc pills? I know I had sex around my ovulation time which was when I was missing all those pills (June 18-22nd)...

I would be VERY excited if I am pregnant, though I was hoping to plan it out better...

This probably is nothing, but my period was lighter than normal and my breasts just started having a milky kind of clear discharge and I am still cramping after my period. Are these things normal? I am assuming so as I did take a pregnancy test and it came up negative...

It certainly has felt like a lifetime! I was expected to start my period today as the birth control shows it's my first green pill, and no period yet. I assume it also could be late maybe? When if I don't get my period in the next couple of days should I take a test?

Hi Colorado,

Women usually begin their period sometime during the week of "inactive" pills. If you usually begin your period with the very first inactive pill, you can take a home pregnancy test now, or wait a few more days. Whenever you expect your period to begin...if it does not begin by this time...then you can take a test.

Please let us know the results!

Susan if. I end up preggos from this situation, taking birth control until my period won't hurt the baby? I should expect it around the 19-26th of july.

Thank you for all the helpful advice I'm not worrying as much anymore. Also I have found myself light headed especially after exercising and I have never had this problem before. I find my breast r tingling but not tender. I will kep you posted!!! :)
