Hey,
I ovulated around the 26th of September 2011, me and my husband have had sex pretty much everyday since I worked out my ovulation days ( yes were trying to have a baby :) ) and for the last 5 days or so I have been feeling like a twinge / pulling feeling around the appendix ( but not on the appendix ) . I'm new to the hole pregnancy thing , but slowly figuring it out. I'm just anxious to find out weather I am or not! I am due for a period in roughly 10 days. ( seems to be dragging ) My breasts so seem to have these bumps on them , nothing major ... maybe it's all in my head??? When's the best time to take a test also? I know it's best to take a test after a missed period ... but that seems to be dragging lol... appreciate the help :)

Charloonie,

If you took a clear blue digital after and got a "not pregnant" then you're not pregnant. A blue smudge is probably related to some ink inside of the other pregnancy test since it really isn't part of the test at all. A positive pregnant test with lines is either two pink lines or a + on the results window.

Keep trying!

Hey
I woke up today , 4 days late for my period , so I did a test ( clear blue strip one ) and got a pink line , and a blue smudge , does anyone know what this means? I couldn't wait and decided to go and buy another test ... only this time it was clear blue digital , and said not pregnant , so I'm a bit confused. Does anyone know what a blue smudge means? Or has anyone had a blue smudge , did another , got a negative and still ended up being pregnant ?

I was due for my af to arrive on the 8th and it's now the 12th ( midnight ) I feel like it's coming But then I felt like it was two weeks before it was due too .... Thought it was maybe symptoms of pregnancy , but negatives all the way , other then this blue smudge???

thanks ! I got the ovulation date wrong , I ovulated 22 - 26 , is it still impossible to know after a week after you had intercourse? The lumps on my breasts aren't anything major , they are just the size of a pimple type thing. My husband said I've always had them .... I've never really taken much notice of my body and it's changes so he's probably right! The period type pain seemed to be more painful when I was trying to get a bit of sleep this afternoon , and my back was hurting too!!!! Got to hate the waiting game lol
thanks again :)

Charloonie,

After a week you may start to feel slight symptoms like the light cramping so it is possible. However, I'd still wait at least one more week prior to taking any pregnancy tests-- I know, the waiting game is terrible when you're trying to conceive a baby!

Best of luck,

Rosa

Hi Charloonie,

Congrats on trying to conceive!

Unfortunately it is still too early for you know if you're pregnant or not. Interestingly enough, though, I had a similar symptom to yours when I conceived. About two weeks into my pregnancy I would feel what I would call "the little men at work" it's like mild cramping/tugging but not like period pains.

It may still be too early for you to feel any symptoms but if you are at all concerned about your breast lumps, please do get that checked out. You can test for pregnancy as soon as you miss a period!

Good Luck,

Rosa
