Am I pregnant? What is my next step?

My period did not come for the first time, then two weeks after I started light brown/redspotting with a lot of brown. It never filled a light pad. I have had cramping before and after the spotting. I took two pregnancy tests and they were negative. Do I get a blood test from my doctor or what do I do!?

My last period ended April 1st and my next period did not come. In the middle of my next pack of bc I started a brown spot that did not need a pad, it was only when I wipe. A few days ater was when i started using a padd. I never filled a pad the entire time I spotted and as mentioned beforeitwas more brown than red at all... the spotting lasted five days...

Light brown spotting to fill a pad, plus negative pregnancy tests, indicate that you are most likely not pregnant.

Have you been trying to conceive, or have been having frequent unprotected sex? How old are you? When was your last menstrual period (first date of bleeding), and are your periods usually regular. Could you describe your situation more in-depth?

Women can have a change in their menstrual cycle without indicating a problem, but we can help you sort through the range of possibilities. Also, you can call your doctor's office and speak with a nurse if you are worried...that is always an option, too.
