Guide

Hello ravali,

Welcome to the EmpowHER community. Thank you for reaching out to us for answers to your questions regarding Idoz 72.

An emergency contraceptive is most effective if taken as soon as possible following unprotected intercourse. It should be taken within 72 hours and is up to 95 % effective.

You should have vaginal bleeding, which is actually bleeding caused by the pill and not your normal menstrual period, within 3 weeks. If not, then take a pregnancy test. A urine test is most effective if taken in the morning by using the first urine of the day. A blood test is more accurate than a urine test.

Some women experience changes in their menstrual cycles as a side effect of the pill. Your next monthly period could start on time or start earlier or later than expected, but usually, not by more than five days.

I hope this is the information you were looking for...
