Guide

Hello Anonymous,

Thank you for your question.

AndroGel is topical testosterone.Testosterone is a naturally occurring male hormone necessary for many processes in the body.
AndroGel works by replacing or supplementing the testosterone that is naturally made in the body.

Renal failure was found among male, 50-59 old, who took the drug for 2 - 5 years, who also took the medication, Zithromax, and had HIV infection.

Renal failure (kidney dysfunction) has been reported by men with high blood pressure, coronary artery bypass, multiple myeloma, and diabetes.

AndroGel can cause serious side effects in men with an enlarged prostate gland. Symptoms include:
increased urination at night
trouble starting your urine stream
having to pass urine many times during the day
having an urge that you have to go to the bathroom right away
having a urine accident
being unable to pass urine or weak urine flow

I hope this was helpful.

Regards,
Maryann
