The ball of my foot has swelling and pain??

I don't know who I am supposed to see over this problem it's a new problem I have been having for about 2 weeks now?? I see a rheumatologist for my ostioarthrithis, spinal stenosis, server nerve damage in my neck .I am already on meds for pain and muscle spasms and inflamation.. Doctors are closed Do I wait to see her or should I go to the emergency room to get seen??

Metatarsalgia is a term that describes pain and inflammation in the ball of the foot. X-rays may be helpful in excluding other causes of forefoot pain. You should probably see a foot doctor (podiatrist) or an orthopedic doctor. If the pain is severe and you cannot wait, going the ER or after-hours facilities like Urgent Care or Doctors Express can help you. They would tell you what specialist to see for a followup as well.
