Hi.
I am 20 and I've never had regular periods in my entire life. I am a virgin probably, 3 months ago my boyfriend tried to insert his penis inside my vagina, using condom, but it did not go in. As far as I think, it was because hymen was intact. Still, to avoid any risks, I took the emergency pill. I didn't have periods for the past 6 months before this event, but after taking the pill (which was hormonal), I think a month after that I had my periods, somewhat the periods started to happen frequently, like every 2-3 weeks I started to have periods. But for like past 2-3 weeks, I have noticed bleeding from vagina, the first week I thought I was having periods but the quantity of blood was really small, also it was brownish-red. Then after a week the bleeding got heavy, I thought the periods had just started, I ignored the previous bleeding. Then when the bleeding was almost stopping my boyfriend again tried to insert his penis, but this time without protection. It was almost the last day of my periods, I was experiencing a brownish discharge. He couldn't insert again, although he tried 3-4 times, he thought it would hurt me. But my guess is it did slightly enter vagina, but wasn't able to break hymen as it couldn't go inside. After that day the brown discharge from vagina didn't stop. Infact it increased so much that it soaked my pad completely today, I am worried now, because it's been 3 weeks that I'm bleeding. Also, my boyfriend inserted finger several times, which did hurt a little, what do you think is the possible cause of this irregularity and disturbance that I'm facing?

(the same anonymous who wrote the above mentioned comment) Could I be pregnant? As the penis didn't go inside me, but right after trying and failing to insert, he ejaculated right on my stomach, like he was trying to push his penis inside me, but he couldn't so he took it out (because he knew he was about to ejaculate), right after he took out his penis, he ejaculated on my stomach.

Hello Anonymous,

I would like to welcome you to the EmpowHER community. From what you have shared, you are not pregnant. Without sperm entering your vagina, at the time when a mature egg has been or is about to be released from one of your ovaries, there is no chance of conception.

I am concerned about your irregular menstrual cycles and most recent and persistent vaginal bleeding. It is very important that you schedule an appointment with your physician. The cause of this bleeding must be determined. It would be a very good opportunity to discuss your irregular menstrual cycles.

Regards,
Maryann

Hello Anonymous,

I would like to welcome you to the EmpowHER community.
As long as you have been taking your birth control pills daily and have used condoms, there is no chance that you are pregnant.
Your weight gain is most likely the result of eating more.
If your next period is late by more than one week, you can take a home pregnancy test.
Please try to stop worrying. A simple urine pregnancy test will tell you whether or not you are pregnant.

Regards,
Maryann
