ask: Birth control

I've jus been curious about the birth control I've been taking. This is my second month on birth control and I was wondering what to expect in the first few months of taking birth control. My information pack said it would take about 3 months to adjust and get used to the pill. What should I expect? More/less acne, missed period, spotting? Maybe just a list of things that are and aren't 'normal' or typical would help if you could do that?

Hi Anonymous,

Thank you for your question. I found this website for you for informational purposes for what to look for or expect with a hormone based birth control which the Pill is hormonal. Please click here http://www.health.com/health/gallery/0,,20408202,00.html

If you have any concerns throughout the start of using birth control, please contact your treating physician immediately.

I hope this helps.
