I did not have sexual intercourse with my boyfriend...we are very careful with what we do...one of us atleast has clothes on and if we touch eachothers parts we would always wash them...I am scared incase I am pregant because i was bleeding heavy like a normal period for 3 days and got it the day I was expected to get it....my period is usually longer and I started getting worried and thinking of implantation bleeding ....I know that's light spotting but mine was red and heavy and got blood clots a few times but I visited my doctor the morning my period started because my pains were severe and he put me on mefac500mg and I know that reduces blood loss so could that be the reason or am I pregnant???and I just went toilet tonight and there was some red and brown discharge and today I wasn't bleeding today atall(today is the 4th day of my period) so do u think it's the tablets or pregnancy and I know I see a lot of stuff on the internet about getting pregnant different ways but can u explain how pregancy happens properaly and not many other ways thank you

Hello again

Implantation is a few drops over a few days - not even enough to fill a panty liner.
You need to relax - you're not pregnant. If you think you can get pregnant while one of you is wearing clothes, you really need to educate yourself about sex.

When you do have sex, as long as a condom is used at all times, you have less than a 2% chance of pregnancy.

Hello Siobhan21

Thank you for writing.

My advice to you is to stop engaging in any sexual activity until you know how sex works. Here is an article that will explain all, cut and paste here: https://www.empowher.com/reproductive-system/content/how-sex-works

There is zero risk for pregnancy in your case. A woman cannot get pregnant unless she has unprotected sex (both naked) with ejaculation inside (or rarely, on the opening of) her vagina. She would also have to be ovulating. Sperm may wet clothes but they don't penetrate clothing in order to find a vagina and swim up it to cause pregnancy.

It sounds like your period is over. A pregnancy test is advisable for anyone who continues to have questions - for ease of mind. Some people just like to see an answer in black and white. A digital test till do that for you.
