hello i got protected sex last oct 16 then same day i too postinor 2 after that oct 22 i got my period and it ends oct 27, i got protected sex again oct 29 because he used a condom but im still feel worried then i took postinor 2 same day, then nov 3 i got bleeding like a period, is it because of the medicine? should i considered it as a early period because its heavy like my normal period.

Good morning. I'm really worried right now. I had unprotected sex 13th of February and I took the pill 14th feb morning. I started bleeding on 21st of February, little dark blood and as at yesterday march 3rd the blood was still coming but not heavy, today march 4th the blood has changed color to the normal menstrual red. I'm worried

my period was due this 14th march but i had my period on 1st march. i took postinor 2 on 23rd february two hours after sex. the blood looks like an actual period because i got heavy period and it's thick. today is 3rd march and im still on my period. what does that mean?

Hello Anonymous,
Changes in the menstrual cycle are a side effect of Postinor 2. It has caused you to start your period earlier than expected and a heavier than normal flow.

My fiancee gave birth to our son February 2nd, we had sex last week Thursday, because she is likely to get pregnant again we had to get Postinor 2. She started experiencing serious stomach pains since Monday morning which was followed by heavy bleeding later that day's evening. The stomach pains stopped on Wednesday afternoon but the heavy blood discharge is still happening as at this morning. Should we be worried?

Yes, you should be worried. Her hormones have not yet returned to pre pregnancy levels. By taking Postinor 2, she "blasted" her body with a high dose of manmade progesterone.
Call her obstetrician today.

I do not know, but I would think not more than five to seven days. You could ask your gynecologist or pharmacist.
You could have sex while still bleeding if you want to.
