Guide

You have microscopic hematuria, which means that blood was noted under examination by a microscope. You are not able to see the blood with your eyes.

Blood in urine is called hematuria. The kidneys and other parts of the urinary tract allow blood cells to leak into urine.

Problems which cause this leakage include urinary tract infections, kidney infections, a bladder or kidney stone, enlarged prostate, kidney disease and advance kidney,  bladder or prostate cancer. Sickle cell anemia and Alport syndrome can cause blood in urine.

I hope this information is helpful,

Maryann
