Does this have to do with your New Year's Resolution? LOL!

The skin is actually our heaviest organ. A document from the University of North Carolina Medical Center says that it is 16% of our body weight.

This might be surprising until you realize that there are several layers of the skin, and we only see one. The 16% figure includes the epidermis, the dermis and the hypodermis, not to mention the water they hold.
