Both Fallopian tubes are blocked after surgery can i still get pregnant

Before your tubal ligation surgery, your gynecologist should have reviewed the types of ligation surgery available and the success rate of each option in preventing pregnancy. Prior to your surgery, you must have signed a consent form allowing the surgeon to do the procedure.

The tubes may be "ligated" by some combination of cutting, tying, clamping, and banding, or by sealing them off with an electric current.

In the first year after a tubal ligation, an estimated 1 out of 100 women will get pregnant. The younger you are at the time of a tubal ligation, the more likely the sterilization is to fail. If you do conceive after having a tubal ligation, there's a higher chance that the pregnancy will be ectopic — when the fertilized egg implants
outside the uterus, usually in a fallopian tube.
