okay so im 19 years old i was seeing someone and we were sexually active now on jan 30th we had sex and the condom was left in me all night and i had no idea because i was intoxicated and the next morning we went to go do it again and he pulled it out of me, i didnt think anything of it until today which is feb 9th, my period is due on feb 15th since last month my period came jan 15th it usually comes around the same day each month. i had extreme lower back pains on feb 4th that lasted all day until i took some tylenol arthritis pills and it stopped hurting the next day. at some points it still bugs me but not as much. Ive woken up with headaches the past week a few times but if i take some advil they go away. i havent been eating a lot because everytime i do i feel like my stomache is gunna explode no matter how much i eat could be very little portion it feels extremely full. so today feb 9th all day ive been getting a white mucus discharge that later turned lightish to mediumish brown still muscus. im gunna wait it out but wanted to know any thoughts on this.

Okay I started my period september 29 and yesterday october 24 I started spotting for a couple hours and then totally stopped today I am having an increased amount of discharge. Could this be implantation bleeding? I did have unprotected sex in between time.

hi Diane! I'm 27 years old, with 1 daughter, she's 6. My husband and I are planning to have another one baby. My last period was July 15-20, 2012. We had sex after 2 weeks and i'm expecting my next period on the 12 day of August but i got this super dark brown spot on the 7 day of this month til august 9 just a spotting so i only used pantyliners, and on the next day August 10 to 12 it turns like an ordinary color of my period but a little bit heavier compare to the first three days and it ends on the day when i expect my first day of my period. is it normal?

hi im 29 and i am about two weeks before my next period is due. i had sex with my boyfriend at first we did not use a condom but he did not ejaculate. that was only for a few minutes then he put a condom on before we um finished up. the following morning i started having a dark brown discharge with excrutiating back pain on the lower left side just above my buttocks. the discharge has continued for 4 days now and the pain in my back is much less but still present. is this my period? what is wrong with me?

I am 19 years old and had sex with a condom the morning of September 9. My last period started on August 20. A couple days ago I started noticing brown discharge. It's similar to what I used to get a couple days before my period but that hasn't happened in a while, and I'm not due to start my period until September 20. My cycles to tend to be irregular though. So what I'm really wondering is if this means I could be pregnant?

Hi,
If you had your implant removed just four weeks ago, it would be unlikely that you would have ovulated and had intercourse within that 24-hour period, in order to already be feeling effects of early pregnancy. It is not impossible...just highly unlikely at this point.

Women who are not using any type of birth control "only" have a 20% chance of pregnancy with each cycle, and since you just stopped using the implant, it just creates an unlikely scenario for conception with this one-time occurrence. Before trying to conceive, it is best to allow your body one "regular" cycle with a menstrual period, after stopping the use of hormonal contraception...even if for the fact of being able to tell an OB/GYN when the first day of your last menstrual period began.

When you are using hormonal contraception (like the implant), you do not actually have menstrual periods (the bleeding you experience is withdrawal bleeding). It is impossible to know when your menstrual period will begin, since hormonal contraception prevents ovulation. In other words: you have not been ovulating or having a menstrual period with the use of your implant. However, now that you are no longer using the implant, you most likely will ovulate and have a menstrual period this next cycle. Most women's menstrual periods begin about 2 weeks after ovulation.

Hi mjane,
Brown discharge is not an indicator of pregnancy, but it does not rule out pregnancy, either. Many women can experience brown discharge or "spotting" in between periods, and this can be normal.

If you had unprotected sex, you do have a risk of pregnancy. You would need to wait until your next menstrual cycle to determine if you are pregnant or not. If your period begins, this would mean you are not pregnant.
