Is brown discharge a couple days before period is due, normal? I don't think i'm pregnant.. but what could it be? I have pains & cramps too.

Hello softball77,
The brown discharge before the start of your period is most likely the beginning of the shedding process of your endometrial lining. This is normal and nothing to worry about.
If the discharge continues with each period, you may want to consider scheduling an appointment with your gynecologist.
