Hello I see this chat tends to get a lot of replies Amd pretty good ones too so I thought I'd just ask about something myself.

A day ago I gave my bf a ha****b and he mainly came on himself but there was some semen on my hands. After this, I wiped my hands with a tissue and he also cleaned himself up. Between 20-30 minutes later, he started getting close to me again and one thing led to another and I rubbed my clit with the hand I'd used to give him the ha****b. I know almost certainly that I didn't full on finger myself at that point but I'm not fully sure whether I touched round the area of my hymen (I'm a virgin lol) or not I get the feeling I may have.I was very wet at the time and I'm pretty sure my hands were dry. It must have been between 10-30 seconds max. before my bf realised we haddnt washed our hands and I got worried. I soon went to the bathroom and got some tissue and wiped myself in the direction away from my vigina. My main concerns are I don't know exactly how long the time gap was, I don't fully remember how low I went and I don't know whether there could have been sperm still on my finger, even if it seemed dry to me. My bf seems totally fine about it but I'm the kind of person who worries a lot. Thanks in advance.

By the way, I just finished my period two days before this however I've been irregular of late and haven't had what I'd call a normal period like this last one for months! Last time I'd had anything was over a month ago and was only brown discharge then a couple of weeks before that I'd had almost two months of just brown discharge with about two small gaps of nothingness in between so yea I can't really say anything about my cycle at the moment. Sorry my message is so long lol I get rather detailed with things like this.

Hello Anonymous,

I do not think there was a risk for becoming pregnant, because you had just finished your period two days before. This was day 3 of the new menstrual cycle and too early for ovulation. Secondly, any semen would have been wiped away and certainly after 20 minutes, any semen would have dried and sperm died.

Consider scheduling an appointment with a gynecologist, who can help with the issue of irregular menstrual cycles and birth control options.

Maryann

Thank you so much! I have already had a doctors appointment which was after the continuous brown discharge episode. I'm currently keeping a diary of it all to reference back to Incase I now stay irregular, as I wasn't really before, to try and spot patterns or treat it like you suggested. But yeah thank you!

Hello Anonymous,

Yes, there was a chance of becoming pregnant if she was ovulating and introduced sperm into her vagina. A woman's fertile window, which is when she is most likely to conceive, is five days before and on the day of ovulation.

I suggest your girlfriend schedules an appointment with a gynecologist to get a prescription for oral contraceptives, which can help regulate her menstrual cycle and prevent pregnancy.

Regards,
Maryann

Hi, sorry to bother you - I'm just really paranoid that I might be pregnant, even though I don't think it's possible.
Basically, we didn't have p-in-v sex or anything, but we were naked and touching each other. And I think my partner touched her penis(she's trans) for maybe a couple of seconds, which might have had sperm on it, and then she was fingering me, and my period's a couple of days late and I'm scared. This happened a week after my last period, I think. If she might have had something on her hands whilst touching me, does that make it possible for me to be pregnant? I know I'm probably being stupid I'm just scared.

Hello Anonymous,

If you have a regular 28 to 30 day menstrual cycle, and this happened about a week after you finished your period, there was no risk for pregnancy because it would have been too soon for ovulation.

There is always a risk for pregnancy if sperm is introduced into the vagina five days before and on the day of ovulation.
