can hpv with genital warts go away on its own?

i've read all over the place that hpv can go away over time on its own but what if you have the strand with genital warts do i still have the same chance?

Thankyou so much that gives me a little more hope then i had

i've talked to my doctor about getting the vaccines but he kind of just dismissed me i guess its because i already have a strand of it.

Welcome to EmpowHER. 

While there is no cure for HPV, the good news is the infection often clears on its own. If it does not, and treatment is needed, there are many HPV treatment options. Plus, as more people are vaccinated with the new HPV vaccines, the rates of infection may be greatly reduced.

For now, HPV treatment focuses on the symptoms of the infection.
