Can a hysterectomy permanently cure Polycystic Ovarian Disease?

Thank you for your post!

Many doctors who are asked this questions are hesitant to answer either way because a full hysterectomy is such an invasive and life-changing event in a woman's life that it's not really recommended for PCOS.

However, it can and does cure PCOS for some women.

Have you spoken to a doctor about this? I understand the pain and discomfort of PCOS and how is can affect a woman's life but there are other options than hysterectomy.

What has your doctor suggested?
