Can I be pregnant ?

My bf ejaculated on my hand a week ago, it was the 8th day of my menstrual cycle. I wiped my hand with a tissue but am not sure if there was no traces of semen trapped under my long finger nails and also my hand was a bit sticky. Then i accidentally forgot and scratched myself down there and touched myself while changing my underwear.
Since then i have non stop colic and spasms and i feel very bloated. Could it be a sign that i got pregnant ?

Hello Anonymous,

Welcome to EmpowHER.

If this happened on day 8 of your menstrual cycle, it was too early for ovulation and you should just have finished your period. If so, there was no risk for becoming pregnant.

If your next period is late by at least seven days, test for pregnancy. That is the only way to know.

Hello Anonymous,

Sperm can live outside the body for about 20 minutes.

Try to relax because stressing will cause a delay in the start of your period.

I doubt the spasms and bloating are early signs of pregnancy because there was no risk of pregnancy.
