My last period ended on February 18 & usually lasts up to a week, so i should have started February 11. It is now April 12, 2 months after my last period & no show of it yet. I have also taken 2 home pregnancy tests & they both came out negative. I live with my boyfriend, so im sexually active. I have an appointment this weekend to have a blood test done but worried if im not pregnant, what else can it be?

Hi Anon,

Welcome to EmpowHER.  Some of the causes for a missed period can be Excessive weight loss or gain, Eating disorders, such as anorexia or bulimia, Increased exercise, stress, hormonal imbalance, birth control pills and Problems with the pelvic organs , such as imperforate hymen, polycystic ovary syndrome, or Asherman's syndrome.  If it's been two month since your last period.  It's definitely important to see your OBGYN.  Just to confirm you are not pregnant.  If you are not, he might suggest doing other tests to know, what is causing the changes in your cycles.
