i missed a week or more of birth control at the beginning of the pack and ive started taking pills again for a week now, i had unprotected sex for a minute and we stopped because he wasnt sure if he had or was going to ejaculate?

Hi Anon,

Whenever you take a break from your pills, they should be taken for 2 weeks straight to be considered 99% effective. This is why when you first start a pack it is advised to use a backup method during the first two weeks. 

Your chances are slim if you stopped after 1 minute, however, the possibility is still there. Continue taking your pills as prescribed and wait until your withdrawal bleeding starts. If you completely miss your period, then test for pregnancy.
