i start eating this birth control pill 4 days ago ,its my first ever time using birth control pillls so can i start sex in just 5 days of eating pills. i start eating these pills on 2nd day of my mensis . i wana know if i do perform sex without using other contraceptive so it wont make me pragnent as its my first time ever using the birth control pills and just 5 day .reply me as soon as possible plzzz.

Hi, I had unprotected sex the very next day my last period (mensis) ended. I took 4 white pills of Famila-28 within 120 hrs & 2 white pills 12 hrs later instead of 4 . Normally, My next period had to start after 22, 23 days of the last period, but it started on the 12th day. I want to ask that, if its ok ? B,cause, its the first time I have used birth control pills (Famila-28), & I m very upset about that. Plz reply me as soon as possible !

the dose of levonorgestril should be 0.75mg or ethinyl estradiol 2.5mg as emergency contraceptive so famila 28 contains less 0.15mg levonorgestril and 0.15mg ehinyl estradiol thus to use as a emergency pill after sex the dose should be equal .

December 8, 2011 - 10:57amdont take one tablet at a time ..it cannot acheived the desired goals as after intercoarse. use 5 tablets two times daily for 5 days..u will get dsired results.

Some birth control counselors advise that you choose a backup method of birth control (such as condoms and foam) to use with your first pack of pills because the pill may not fully protect you from pregnancy during the first month. It's also advisable to keep the backup method handy should you need it again in the future.

actually as i amusing it for the first time thats y i am confuse regarding this caution . i am also telling u its composition which may also help u figure out what type of tablet it is so may be u can link the dose and exactly give me the answer .
21 white tablet composition :
levonorgestrel USP-0.15mg
ethinyl estradiol USP-0.03mg
now 7 brown tablets composition:
ferrous fumarate BP-75mg
now can u exactly help me to give accurate answer regarding that now after 7 days can i do sex without using any other method . reply me as soon as possible plzz

If you ever miss a pill accidentally, be sure to use a back up method of birth control (condom) until you have taken 7 active pills consecutively.
November 2, 2010 - 1:58pmit means ka i can do surely after eating it proper 7 days isnt it :). thx now u actually helped me alot . becz the only thing i am worried about is as i am using it for first time so should i do wthout condom or not and u helped me out that it will give me 99% effectiveness after eating it 7 days no matter it is my first pack thx a ton :) now i am mentally relaxed to do sex :)
November 3, 2010 - 6:27amhi i wanted to ask something that it has been my 64 hours since unprotected sex and i bought familia 28 n took one pill..now it says that take 4 pills within unprotected sex ,so at what time should i take them? n how many time should i take in one day? n it also says take 4 more 12 hours later..how should the course be continued? i should take 4 like i will take these pill? n then further on 4 more 12 hours later? i just cant seem to understand the timings
