Hello alexrew,

Welcome to the EmpowHER community. Thank you for reaching out to us with your question about conceiving after stopping the Depo-Provera injections.

As you know, a single injection provides three months of protection against pregnancy. So, it may take at least three months to begin ovulating regularly.

It is possible to become pregnant after three months, but it may take longer. For some women, it can take up to a year after the last shot to begin having regular periods, but for others it can happen as soon as four months after the last shot.

Keep us updated. Wishing you and your husband success!

Regards,
Maryann

my bf rubbed me his penis probably with precum outside my vagina. After two weeks, i took a pregnancy test and got negative test. no intercourse or ejaculation happened. his last ejaculation was almost a week ago before this happened. after taking the pregnancy test, few hours later, i got my period same day and i felt so relieved. However, I have read that some women still are pregnant after having period?? is this true? My bleeding was almost for a week and heavy.

is there a possibility that I could be pregnant then? it has been a month since we did it. pls help me.
