Can I get pregnant if I miss pills on week 2?

I'm on Microgynon 30, I missed day 5, 8,9 & 10. (day 5 of week 1 and the first 3 days of week 2) I had sex on days 8 & 10. I didn't make up for the missed pills, could there be a chance of pregnancy?

Dear Anonymous,

Thanks for posting. 

Any time you have unprotected sex, there's a chance for pregnancy. When pills are not taken correctly and missed pills are not made up, then the effectiveness of the pill is decreased. 

If you suspect pregnancy, please take a test 2 weeks after the date you last had sex.
