I was on birth control for a month then in the middle of my last pack I left it on the sink while I was on vacation so I missed 4-5 days of it. I have been bleeding lightly for 10+ days. I started a new type of pill 5 days of not having my pack and my boyfriend came in me a few times. What are my chances of being pregnant? I can support the child that is no problem I am just wondering if I should be worried or not. I am feeling very hungry and tired, and Nauseas. I just don't know if it's possible to be pregnant while breakthrough bleeding.

Hello, and thank you for sharing your question.

You can get pregnant when you have intercourse during breakthrough bleeding.  Since you were not taking your birth control pills, you chances are even greater.

When you start taking a different kind of birth control, it takes a little while for it to be affective. Therefore, is it very likely that you became pregnant because of the intercourse you had.

The best way to find out it to take a pregnancy test
