Can I get pregnant from manual sex?

My boyfriend and I engaged in manual sex yesterday. He fingered me first and then I gave him a handjob. He ejaculated and as we were nowhere near water...we just used tissue. Later we both washed our hands. A few hours later he started to finger me again...it was in the same place he ejaculated last time. I am worried about pregnancy. I know and I've read several places that say it is impossible...but I'm still freaking out.

I recently got yeast infection, and was wondering if plan b could have had a hand in it. I read somewhere tthat it creates a hormonal imbalance. Could that be the reason? My mom seems to think it is because of stress and the fact that I eat alot of sugary foods.

Hi Unknown-108,

A vaginal yeast infection is a fungal infection that causes irritation, discharge and intense itchiness of the vagina and the vulva — the tissues at the vaginal opening. It's a type of vaginitis, or inflammation of the vagina.

The fungus candida causes a vaginal yeast infection. Your vagina naturally contains a balanced mix of yeast, including candida, and bacteria. Lactobacillus bacteria produce acid, which prevents yeast overgrowth. That balance can be disrupted and lead to a yeast infection. Too much yeast in your vagina causes vaginal itching, burning and other classic signs and symptoms of a yeast infection.

Taking oral contraceptives or hormone therapy, which increases estrogen levels can cause an overgrowth of yeast. Plan B contains a high dose of levonorgestrel, which is in a class of medications called progestins. It is not estrogen, so I don't think it had any impact on developing a yeast infection.

Hi again...
My period was supposed to come yesterday but it hasn't. I know you said the plan b could make it come later, but I've had alot of discharge and back pain (as if I was on the verge of getting my period) for almost a week. Is that normal? I've been stressing alot, because I don't want to visit my family doctor ...she is also my mom's doctor.
How long can the period be late?
I've been reading around and some people are talking about skipped periods and finding out they are pregnant eventhough they got their period on plan b. I am confused and worried.

Hello Unknown-108,

When Plan B does cause menstrual cycle changes, such as a late period, the delay is not more than 5 days.

Try to relax.

Thank you. It came today.
I wanted to ask and this might sound dumb.. I have iron deficiency..and I can feel myself often out of breathe. Is it ok to use my iron pills or is there going to be some interference with the plan b ? or is it safe since it is already out of my system? I tried to google it, and found a link saying that no result has been found and to consult a doctor.

Hi Unknown-108,

Plan B is long out of your body. An iron supplement should only be taken if indeed you have been diagnosed with an iron deficiency by a blood test.

I urge you to speak with your doctor about often feeling out of breath before you assume it is related to low iron and self-treat with a supplement.

Regards,
Maryann

Is it possible to have pregnancy symptoms when scared? I heard pregnant women are always tired and sleepy, and sometimes wake up in hot flashes. Today, and yesterday I was extremely tired and sleepy. Today I managed to sleep for long during my day nap amd ended up waking sweating. Is it possible it is because I am scared I am starting to get all these symptoms? Like while eating I also got nauseous.

Hello Unknown-108,

I think all your symptoms are triggered by stress and anxiety.

Sorry for the thousand questions, but if I wanted to get on the pill or have an IUD...would the Plan B make them not work? Or should the Plan B wear off in some time? I am really scared about that.
