Q:

Can I get pregnant in this situation?

A few hours ago, my boyfriend and I were in his car and he went down on me for the first time. He was using his mouth and then inserting his fingers into me deeply. I was completely naked, and he was just in his boxers. We've never had sex - I'm still a virgin. I then also went down on him (we kind of 69-ed) , but now I'm worried that maybe some semen or pre-ejaculate got on his fingers while he was taking his penis out. He fingered me pretty deeply afterwards, definitely touched my cervix, and I'm just worried that I could get pregnant from this? If he had anything on his fingers, rather. I have a morning-after pill- should I take it? Am I at risk for pregnancy from this?

Hello AnitaK,
The short answer is: no. You do not need to take an emergency contraceptive. It is not necessary because you cannot become pregnant from this event. Plus it will only disrupt your period and give you uncomfortable side effects.
The only way to become pregnant is if he ejaculates into your vagina during penetration.
You have nothing to worry about.

Hi Faith,
Thanks so much for replying.
I'm expecting my period in a few days, but about two days after what we did, I had some brown discharge. it wasn't a lot, but I just wanted to know if this is normal? I read something online about implantation bleeding and while I know that it's not possible to get pregnant from what we did, I can't help but feel a bit paranoid haha.but I should be okay, right? definitely no chance of getting pregnant from this, even if he maybe had something on his fingers? He didn't come but his penis was slightly wet.

Thanks.

Brown spotting is common a few days before or after your period. It is to implantation bleeding because as you know, you did not have sex and none of the things that happened can make you pregnant.
