going in a.m. for ck. Bumps that have just appeared. After reading, think I know what to expect.
Thinking it may be type 2, can this be transmitted while I have an active "sore" to him? by giving him oral or vaginal sex? these are on buttock. Can he get 1 or 2? Can he get anything from kissing? Sooo confused & upset.

Hello Anonymous,

It appears that you are asking if you can pass an STD to your boyfriend. Which STD are you asking about?

In general, a sexually transmitted disease is transmitted from an infected person to a sexual partner by oral, vaginal and anal sex.

Genital human papillomavirus, also called HPV, is the most common sexually transmitted infection. There are more than 40 HPV types that can infect the genital areas of men and women, as well as the mouth and throat.
Genital warts usually appear as a small bump or group of bumps in the genital area.

Once you are tested and the result diagnose the specific STD, your healthcare provider will advise you on treatment and precautions.
