I was on the depo shot a little over a year and go and it made me gain 50 pounds and also made me bleed 24/7 I got taken off of that and was out on the pill I was taking the pill recently just up until about the end of summer and then I stopped taking it regularly because I just kept forgetting. I would only take it when I would remember and sometimes take multiple pills at a time. On November 12th I had sex for the 1st time in almost a year and he wore a condom and also did not ejaculate in me because he was trying not too. I still have not gotten my period yet and took two at home tests at different times of day and they were both negative. What do
I do? I have a yearly check up with my OBGYN in a couple of days and I was going to tell them but I am afraid that they will think insleep around. Can they tell my mom if I get tested? I just don't know what to do.

Do not go with out you mom before 18. Youth girls are taught they don't get along with their parents. I was molested many times by my doctor as a teen. Didn't know i was being molesed till i was an adult. I was all ways alone nude an he was so pain for an talked about uts nice not to see zebra skin an not give that to any one. Had me going every 6 months. I couldn't take the werks left in pain one visit i told the nurse i just can't be in the room alone anymore. Or give me another doctor. So a nurse start coming in with us. That's when i learn i should have been covered an tools was used not his hands. No child should ever ho to a doctor a lone befor age 18..take a friend or a family member. Toonmany kids to day is being taught to dislike their mother but tontrust child molestets doctors. Dr.sameuel bush was my doctor..it makes me sick to think he molested me so many times. An i was so dumb to know at that time at 16....he was my doctor for years till i moved at age 27. It wasn't till my daughter turn teen an her father wasvteaching her that she didn't get along with me because she was a girl an girls didn't get along with theur mom. Next she cwas in a molesting sistuations trusting adults not the mom. Justvset up to be used by nasty adults. Courts don't care to give justice to teens. To i feel i should have the rights to sue to teach a lesson to miss guiding adutls teachings girls to not trust their mom. Just a set up for redellions an chilf molesting.

Hi I'm 17 years old and pretty positive I'm pregnant but had several different negative and positive tests. I'm on the deppo shot but the things I'm feeling is everything I've looked up for early pregnancy. My parents don't know and I don't want them to come with me. I don't have any way to get my insurance card but I wanna make sure its safe (if I really am pregnant that is) and also if I'm safe. I live in Louisiana and I heard about free clinics I could go to but not sure what to do. I have an ID but that's it. I'm scared but I need to know the best options I'd have. If anyone can help me please comment. If I'm pregnant they'd really have no choice to take me in right ? Please help me. Thank you.

The depo shot can make you feel like that sometimes, like you're pregnant and can give you mood swings and all that stuff. But if you're using the shot correctly you should be fine. It has a 99% success rate. But if you're really that worried it doesn't hurt to check.

Hi shelby_15,
I didn't have a very good relationship with my mom either when I was your age so I know where you are coming from. I would encourage you to talk to her about it, but if you can't can you talk to your dad? If you can't take to either one about this, you might try calling Planned Parenthood see if they can help you out. I'm glad you're taking care of yourself and trying to do the right thing for you.
