I've been experiencing this when i was 8th grade. But before, i was regular. I do experience menstruation once a month and 5-7 days of period. My friends sometimes tell me to take pills so that i will be regular. While my mom said, it's just normal. The thing that is bothering me is that what IF i will be barren. What IF i'm not able to get pregnant in future. By the way, I'm 15 years old, 10th grader. Please help me. :) thanks!

Hi Anon,

Welcome to EmpowHER. You are very young and it's normal sometimes to have irregular cycles. Things that can cause these changes are hormonal imbalances, ovarian cysts and many other. You need to continue monitoring your cycles and if you continue having irregular periods discuss with your doctor.

Best,

Hi

Having an irruglar period is normal for many people. Don't worry. You won't be barren. You will be able to get pregnant.
