I been on Yasmin for about a month and a half, and I had intercourse on the second week of the pack, but i forgot to take one pill 2 days after i had intercourse. Could I still get pregnant?

Aneris,
Did you take the pill you missed, as soon as you remembered? This could mean it was later that evening, or the next day. If you took it the next day, it means you would "double-up" on your pills in one day (for instance, if the pill you forgot was Friday's, then you would take Saturday's pill as normal, as well as Friday's missed pill). If you do take two pills in one day, after missing a pill, you can take them a few hours apart (it can upset your stomach if taken together).

As long as you took the pill as soon as you remembered, it is unlikely that this could have caused too much of a lapse in your hormones to cause a pregnancy (especially since it was several days after intercourse). Since you had taken your pills consistently and correctly up to the time of intercourse, the hormones in your pills have many ways to act as "defense" against pregnancy, including preventing ovulation (release of an egg), creating an unsuitable environment in your uterus for a fertilized egg to implant (if one were released), and the sperm would also have trouble getting past your cervix, as the pill's hormones cause the cervical mucus to change and become difficult for the sperm to "swim" through. Sperm can live up to 3-5 days inside a woman's body in the best of environments (before/during ovulation), and since the pill creates an "unwelcoming" environment for sperm, it was unlikely that it lived long enough past the few days.

Yes, i took the pill as soon as i got home. But since the females in my family are so darn fertile, it scared me a little bit. there are 27 sets of twins in my family, including my sister, she had a set of twin girls as well. And now my cousing is expecting twins too. Is nothing to mess around with, at least not in my family.
