I had my fallopian tubes removed due to multiple etopic pregnancies. I still have my ovaries, so can I still get pregnant?

It is possible. I too had my tubes removed after a etopic and got pg 3 times that year and a half after. 2 ended in miscarraiges but my hubby and i now have a 2 year old girl who was well worth it. Like u I was told it was not possible and was reffered to a fertility specialist. I was pg on the first appointment and switch obs to find one who would help me stay balanced with optimism and reality. She got me through it and now I am 2 moths late and worried I may be having issues again. Or miricle 2 is in the making. Good luck. We will add u to our prayers

I completely understand what you are saying about not being able to afford IVF. If you get a chance, check out www.fertilitywithinreach.org/empower-yourself. This website teaches you how to gain access to fertility treatment benefits. Good luck!

Not sure if you read any of my earlier posts so I don't know if this question was to me. But, if it was: yes, I have NO tubes, 1 ovary and I got pregnant naturally with my 4th child. No, they didn't all happen this way. First two pregnancies were "normal". When my 2nd child was an infant, I had a cyst on my left ovary and when it was removed, I lost my left tube and ovary. Then, I got pregnant with my 3rd. Because of scar tissue from the surgery, this was ectopic and ruptured. Then I was told I couldn't have any more (naturally). But my doctor at the time didn't remove the damaged tube. Three years after that, I was pregnant AGAIN with another ectopic pregnancy. My new doctor did the emergency surgery and finally removed the remaining damaged tube. Now, being left with 1 ovary and no tubes, I couldn't get pregnant naturally. Not wanting to end my child-bearing years on such a string of heart ache, we decided to do IVF one time. Being in my mid-30's at the time and having one ovary, we knew the odds weren't great. But, sure enough, it worked after 1 cycle. My 3rd child just turned 2 this past week. WELL, much to my surprise, after being a month late this past fall, I was indeed pregnant! Doctors were concerned about where the pregnancy was at (uterus or abdomen). So, did the sperm get out to the egg or the egg make its way in to the uterus. Well, my baby girl is in the uterus safe and sound. And I'm currently in my 32 week of pregnancy. So, while maybe remote, miracles DO indeed happen!
