I had my fallopian tubes removed due to multiple etopic pregnancies. I still have my ovaries, so can I still get pregnant?

Hi, I just had both tubes removed in December. I'm wondering what explanation did your doctor provide for you becoming pregnant with no tubes and one ovary? Just wondering....

Did you become pregnant naturally? Or through ivf?

What do you do? Do you take something or you undergo IVF.

Are you serious because my tubes have been removed due to ectopic pregnancy. . Dr took the right when the baby was actually in the left had to come back for a second surgery. . They now say I can't conceive.. I don't even know if I can do ivf.

I've just had both tubes removed was told I would need IVF but as my ovaries were fine it shouldn't be an issue. So as long as you can produce eggs you should be ok

Hello Anonymous,

I got my information from Collin Smikle, M.D. an obstetrician and gynecologist.

"If your fallopian tubes were removed or if you had a tubal ligation in the past, you cannot get pregnant naturally.

You can still get pregnant with ivf because it bypasses the fallopian tube and the embryos are placed directly into the uterus."
