Hi, Pee.

When a woman has her periods, even just one period, it means she is not pregnant. Your period happens when your uterus gets rid of the tissue it has built up to nourish an embryo if an egg is fertilized. When that doesn't happen, the tissue sloughs off and you bleed and have your period.

Occasionally a woman may have very light bleeding or spotting while she is pregnant, but it's not the same as a period. If you've not missed a period in three months, you can be certain that you aren't pregnant.
