Hi Anon,
Thank you for reaching out to EmpowHER with you question!
It is important to understand that emergency contraception like Postinor 2 should be used in case of emergency only. It should not be used as your main form of birth control. If you are having unprotected sex and are concerned about getting pregnant, it is important to use protection. Here is a great resource that talks about different methods of birth control options: https://www.empowher.com/birth-control/content/which-method-birth-control-should-i-use-part-i?page=0,0.
Although the morning after pill is made to be taken after having sex, some studies have found that it can also be effective taken the day before having sex too. It is better to use a regular form of birth control, but if you had Postinor 2 an hour before sex, you are most likely not pregnant. If you are concerned, you could always take a pregnancy test to be sure though.
I highly suggest that you begin taking a more regular form of birth control like the pill, a patch, or using a condom.
I hope this helped! Please let me know if you have further questions.
Best,
