Can pre ejaculate swim through underwear?

my boyfriend and I had dry sex. I was on my period when we did it (I had a pad on). I noticed that there was precm on his boxers and he had made my underwear a little wet. the problem is that my underwear had moved a little to the side. so I was worrying if his precm could have made its way through his boxers and into my vaginal opening? (we both had our underwear on at all times) I am terrified of the thought of being pregnant. help please? thanks ...

Hello confused135,

Welcome to the EmpowHER community. I am glad you reached out to us with your concern. You can relax because you were not at risk for becoming pregnant.

To begin with, you were having your period. You can become pregnant when you have unprotected sex around or on the day you ovulate. Ovulation happens about the middle of your menstrual cycle. Once you have your period, ovulation is a thing of the past, about 2 weeks in the past.

Secondly, pre ejaculate fluid itself doesn't contain sperm. So, there was no sperm which is necessary for pregnancy to happen. And, sperm cannot pass through clothing.

Regards,
Maryann
