Dear Anon,

Thank you for visiting the EmpowHER community and sharing your question!

Stress cannot cause cancer. The National Cancer Institute explains that psychological stress alone has not been found to cause cancer, but psychological stress that lasts a long time may affect a person’s overall health and ability to cope with cancer after one has it.

Anon, it's always best to keep stress at a minimum, especially for your overall health.

Here's a great article from the EmpowHER community on tips for lowering stress. I hope you read it and find it helpful!
